Growth Story

1. Diploma in Automobile Engineering 1993 batch.
2. Started working with local dealerships of Maruti Car and Two wheelers in Pune.
3. Worked with authorized power generating (Greaves D.G set) dealer in Pune as a service engineer.
4. Got an opportunity to work in Muscat (Capital of Oman) with authorized dealer of Volvo Trucks & Buses and Caterpillar.
5. Coming back to India, entered in a new profession of Design and Development of full hydraulic brake systems for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Design and Developments included Design of components, bench testing, and vehicle testing. This was Bosch Chassis Systems, formerly known as Kalyani Brakes Ltd. Responsible for entire brake system of many OEM in India, Mahindra Scorpio, TATA Winger, Mahindra XUV 500 were only few of them.
6. Also completed B.S in Manufacturing from BITS Pilani as part time.
7. After a journey of 8yrs with Bosch, got another opportunity to work with another brake system manufacturer Continental, which had entered in India with a manufacturing facility in Gurgaon Haryana. Had to shift with my family to Gurgaon. Here I was not only responsible for brake system design and development but was also a project manager and a coordinator between Germany and India for this company, working as a senior Manger here.
8. Joined TATA Motors in Pimpri, back to my home town as senior manager in Engineering Research Center in 2010. Worked for a number of projects, Nano diesel / Sumo Grande / Zest / Bolt / Tiago etc.
9. In year 2012, was back to Continental Automotive Brake Systems but form Pune, presently as Assistant General Manger here taken up new responsibility for Noise vibration harshness in brakes in addition to project management and development. Working very close to OE’s like Ford / Renault / VW / Fiat / Chrysler, India and abroad.

Pimpri Chinchwad Polytechnic has played a pivotal role in whatever I have achieved till date, and I continue to engage with PCP on several aspects, hence it continues to be part of my journey. PCP has always intrigued me in a number of ways - I consider my days in PCP as the building blocks to my academic and personal accomplishments. PCP gives that special opportunity to those passionate minds and out-of-the-box thinkers to realize their aspirations and succeed in them. With an energetic and forward-thinking management, outstanding faculty and diverse student population, it is one of those enriching eco-systems which I feel is hard to find these days.

I take this opportunity to thank the entire team of Automobile Engineering department and the management, who have guided and provided me the necessary guidance and the indispensable knowledge.
Makes me feel proud to be the first batch student of PCP.

I took the admission to the course Diploma in Automobile Engineering in 1990 and completed in 1993 with distinction. In my academic record, I stood first in college throughout the diploma and awarded as best student of the year also.

Our’s is a first batch passed out from the college in 1993. Our college has provided the excellent infrastructure, experienced staff, well equipped laboratories and arranged the industrial visits for us.

After Passed out diploma, I got selected in ‘Tata Engineering and Locomotive Co. Ltd. (TELCO)’ currently known as ‘TATA MOTORS’ through campus drive as ‘Diploma Trainee Engineer’ I successfully completed the training program and after that I worked with ‘Carline Pressings Pvt. Ltd’ as a ‘Production Engineer’

After that I decided to complete my graduation in mechanical engineering. I got the admission to Government College of Engineering Pune (C.O.E.P.) in 1995 and completed my B.E. (Mech) in 1998 with first class. I got selected through campus drive in ‘Philips (I) Ltd’ as a Graduate Trainee Engineer (GET) and worked there for two and half year in ‘Metalware’ department as a “OFFICER” looking after production, maintenance, tool repair section and plating section.

From September 2000 onwards, I started working as a independent consultant and trainer, providing consulting to different small and mid sized industries also offering the corporate training on various technologies. The details of all the consulting assignments and corporate trainings are listed below separately.

In May 2007, I joined the ‘Seed Infotech Ltd’ as ‘Sr. SME’ in their Engineering Services Division to offer trainings in CAD and PLM Domain. I offered the training on CAD tool ‘Creo Elements / Pro Engineer Wildfire 5.0’ and PLM Tool ‘Windchill PDM Link 9.0’

After working with Seed Infotech Ltd till 2011 and started my on firm named ‘East Engineers Trainers and Consultants’ in 2012 and successfully running from last 5 years and offered training and consulting services to different clients.
