HOD's message:
It gives me great pleasure to put in front of you a brief replica of department of Automobile Engineering.
The department has shown better growth in the overall results over previous year.
The department is well equipped with 5 full time, qualified experienced and dedicated faculty and
excellent infrastructure and lab facility. A healthy atmosphere is provided for studies.
The students of the department have wide acceptance in the industry as well as in the service sector.
Service Industry such as Deccan Honda Pvt. Ltd. has conducted Campus interview and selected eight candidates.
Students are provided with an opportunity to improve their soft skills such as presentation skills and communication skills by organizing seminars and educational visits.
All this has been possible due to transparent and impartial and healthy atmosphere in the department, leading to whole hearted contribution of each staff member, endorsing the excellent team spirit which prevails in the department.
Finally I would like to mention of Pune City being the Hub of Automobile Industries, there are ample career opportunities for the Automobile diploma holders along with higher education.
Many industries have come up in Pune District and in regions around Pune. Auto Cluster is also formed in the city. An ever increasing number of Vehicles, the Transportation need of the society, various career opportunities are available.
